Chicago – Adult film superstar and Vixen Angel Riley Steele has received a 2020 AVN Awards nomination for Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene for her exceptional work in “The Wedding Singer”.
Directed by AVN Hall of Famer Kayden Kross for Blacked, the urban imprint created by Greg Lansky, the scene features Steele as a bride who suffers from a serious case of cold feet . . . until she meets the wedding singer (AVN Best Male Newcomer Jason Luv), who is more than happy to help warm her up.
The critically-acclaimed release represents Steele’s first interracial performance.
“I’m so happy to be recognized for my work this year,” said Steele. “I’ve had the best time filming and I can’t wait for the awards!”
Director Kayden Kross was thrilled by news of the nomination. “Riley and I go way back and I love her dearly,” said Kross. “Directing this scene was a highlight of my career and I gave it all I’ve got. “The Wedding Singer” is available on the Blacked official website, and as part of the DVD release of Kross-directed scenes, “Black & White 16”, from Blacked/Pulse Distribution, that features Steele as box cover model.
Steele’s nomination comes as “Black & White 16” sits atop AVN’s November 2019 Top Sales and Rentals chart.
