Chicago – For the second consecutive year, married adult film stars Cassie and Dorian del Isla have been nominated as the Foreign Performers of the Year at the annual AVN Awards.
“I am very pleased and surprised to be nominated for Female Foreign Performer of the Year for the second time; I wasn’t expecting it at all,” said Cassie del Isla. “I feel very honored that AVN has recognized me for my work. Let’s hope this year I bring it back home. It will be the an honor towards all the work that I have done since the beginning of my career.”
“I am really happy to be nominated for Male Foreign Performer of the Year, like the last year,” said Dorian del Isla, “and very proud. Being nominated by AVN makes me stronger in my processional goals in Europe and in USA; a big source of energy! If I received an award, I will feel it like a fantastic wave of motivation!”
In 2013, lava-hot Cassie, who was born on Ile de la Reunion, a small island east of Madagascar, was living in France. While working a day shift at McDonalds and attending college in the evenings, she found herself in need of a second job. She applied for work at a late night strip club owned by Dorian, a former French Army paratrooper.
The two fell in love, and in 2015 married in Bordeaux, the city in southwestern France where Dorian grew up.
While residing in Spain in 2016, the couple made their porn debut for French studio on Jacquie & Michel with a scene that has gone on to generate more than 7.4 million views.
However, the del Islas found the adult business to be “very insular,” Cassie said. “It’s tough if you’re not from Barcelona.“ Cassie and Dorian currently reside on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza, and work all across Europe as well as in the United States, where they are represented by LA Direct Models.
