At the AVN Awards\u2019\u00a038th annual show<\/a>\u00a0on January 23, the unflagging six-foot performer took home his second industry award, Best Virtual Reality Sex Scene, for his performance opposite Adria Fox in VRBangers\u2019\u00a0\u201cThe Cabin in The Woods\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe scenario for that VR release was a honeymoon retreat,\u201d Pounder said. \u201cAdria is absolutely stunning and, while it might just have been the theme of the scene, it sure was hard to leave that day. It took the director to snap me back to reality.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pounder, who over the past couple of years developed a well-earned reputation as the king of virtual reality scenes, added, \u201cIt\u2019s been a great honor to accomplish so much in VR, and to be the surrogate penis for so many members of the viewing public, but now, in this stage of my career, my focus is on more on getting my face out there, and utilizing my background as a mainstream actor.\u201d<\/p>\n

On January 20, Pounder took part in in the AVN Expo panel, Performers\u2019 Guide to Success: Balancing Work, Health & Life, joining moderator Charlotte Stokely and an array of accomplished co-panelists to trade insights on achieving success professionally and personally as a performer.<\/p>\n
