The\u00a0episode<\/a>,\u00a0\u2018Alternative Model Gets a Mom Makeover\u2019, puts a spotlight on Face Tat Mami as she explains that her 31 face tattoos, multiple piercings, fluorescent hair and clothing, boots, spikes and chains aesthetic – which she describes as \u2018Trap Emo\u2019 – isn\u2019t so well-received in her Denver, Colorado neighborhood. The prescription? A Truly\u00a0Transformed\u00a0<\/em>Mom makeover!<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really nervous,\u201d she says as makeup artist Tori shows up at her door and presents her with a pink polka-dot print wrap dress and blonde wig. \u201cThis is going to be awful!\u201d After covering her tattoos, applying a light touch of eyeliner and lipstick, putting a bow in her hair and outfitting her in white Keds sneakers, Face Tat Mami looks in the mirror to find\u2026 No Face Tat Mommy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is weird, I don\u2019t want to look at myself anymore,\u201d she laughs in mock horror. \u201cBut it\u2019s not bad\u2026 I look pretty – just pretty different.\u201d When her best friend and daughter show up for the unveiling, they\u2019re in for a shock. \u201cIt\u2019s ME!\u201d she cries to her young daughter Amora, who doesn\u2019t recognize her at first.<\/p>\n

Despite the fresh makeover and long blonde curls, Face Tat Mami isn\u2019t impressed. \u201cI would not go out like this – I don\u2019t think people would talk to me!\u201d<\/p>\n
