A recent AICA Twitter post including\u00a0this video<\/a>\u00a0(without A.A.I.A.\u00ae branding) states ‘Watch the recap video from\u00a0OUR<\/u><\/strong>\u00a02021 awards show! – May 26th 2022 we do it all over again \u2013 bigger, better and more glamorous than ever!\u2019 See\u00a0https:\/\/adultawards.com.au\/aica-fed-court<\/a><\/p>\n In fact, the video is of the ’21 Australian Adult Industry Awards\u2122 – A.A.I.A.\u00ae (not AICA) event, as demonstrated by A.A.I.A.\u00ae logos on the stage screen, although there has been a clumsy attempt to blur out those logos \u2013 an attempt that failed spectacularly \u2013 as a frame-by-frame inspection clearly reveals A.A.I.A.\u00ae logos on the big screen!<\/p>\n The AICA post goes further to the ongoing infringing of A.A.I.A.\u00ae intellectual property and the passing off of an association with the A.A.I.A.\u00ae event. The Australian Adult Industry Awards\u2122 – A.A.I.A.\u00ae has no association with AICA and has commenced Federal Court action to stop such behaviour.<\/p>\n A Statement of Claim naming the AICA and its directors lodged with the Federal Court on the 24th<\/sup>\u00a0of December, 2021 required a legal defence to be filed by February 11th<\/sup>, 2022 –\u00a0to this date, no defence has been filed<\/strong>.
