Chicago – Conor Coxxx, the versatile actor, performer, producer, musician and owner of esteemed talent agency Coxxx Models, has scored a 2023 AVN Award nomination for Mainstream Venture of the Year in acknowledgment of his band The Holdings\u2019 debut EP, Father & Son.<\/p>\n
As David Holding Jr., the former singer\/guitarist of The Last Relapse was ecstatic to join musical forces with his father, David Haynes Holding Sr., a respected guitarist\/bassist from the halcyon days of the late \u201870s early \u201880s Athens, GA music scene, to craft the hippie\/trippy swirling five-song EP that dropped in July.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile I thoroughly enjoy my adult career, I also enjoy taking some time to explore my musical roots, and the opportunity to write and create songs in the studio with my dad presented itself during the pandemic, and the results turned out more amazing than I ever could have imagined,\u201d said Coxxx.<\/p>\n

After a six-year run, a full-length album, Machine, and a couple hundred shows throughout the southeast U.S., the band decided to go on indefinite hiatus.<\/p>\n In 2020, Jr. and Sr. began working on music again – separately, then collaborating on songs together. Haynes Holding has since released five solo albums that convey a variety of music styles and genres, as well as two albums under the name Soci3ty.
