Chicago – After her victory in the first round of OFTV\u2019s \u201cThis Is Fire\u201d<\/a>, the tempting\u00a0Emma Magnolia\u00a0returns for the semifinals of this cooking show hosted by\u00a0Grand Master Chef Jojo<\/a>. The winner of this round will advance to the finals for the chance to win $20,000.<\/p>\n

In this round, Emma is competing against\u00a0Nala Ray<\/a>, and Chef Jojo challenges them to make Shrimp Po\u2019 Boys with a side salad from scratch in 30 minutes. Emma was excited to be back and is enjoying another opportunity to show off her cooking skills. Nala was looking forward to this round and some girl on girl action, and welcomed the opportunity to cook some southern food.<\/p>\n

After being complimented by Chef Jojo about her winning dish from the previous round, Emma gets right to work. Emma prepares her ingredients and makes a herbaceous aioli and marinates the shrimp in hot sauce and buttermilk. Nala adds some color and mustard to her recipe, and wanted to make her shrimp very savory, and put sriracha and pink peppercorns into her dish as well.<\/p>\n

Emma\u2019s sauce is helped along with some sour cream and cilantro. Emma\u2019s presentation included using a piping bag to create dollops of sauce, which she learned from Chef Jojo. Her hard work paid off as Chef Jojo stated the shrimp was fried perfectly and all components of the dish were amazing.<\/p>\n
