Chicago\u2013\u00a0<\/b>Adult industry attorney Corey D. No other proposed and\/or implemented age verification regulation in the US has such punitive criminal penalties.<\/p>\n \u201cHB 295 is another example of a dangerous trend where politicians are seemingly ignoring commonsense \u2013 and the Constitution \u2013 at the same time,\u201d Silverstein said.<\/p>\n Silverstein explained to clevescene that additional language in HB 295 creates a misdemeanor for anyone circumventing the age block from the side of the user (eg via VPN).
