Chicago – MixedX is making holiday magic with the release of a spirited new scene this season, Tale of Hidden Embers.<\/p>\n
Written and directed by Christina Shine, who also stars in the film, the story follows the lovely Lia Lin as she sulks through a festive Christmas dinner with Christina and her stepmom Karina King and contemplates the idea of finally unveiling her truth and identity as a lesbian.<\/p>\n
\u201cChristmas can be tough though, maybe it will make her more understanding,\u201d Lin writes in her diary about her desire to share such truths openly, as Karina shares her own Sapphic secret with Christina before opening up to her stepdaughter in an unexpected – and extraordinary – passionate encounter.<\/p>\n
