Holly lays bare her stunning success behind the camera – as well as the microphone, as host of the wildly popular Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast.<\/p>\n
Randall says, \u201cToday there are a lot of female directors and photographers in the industry – not as many as there should be, but definitely many more than before. When my mom started, she was the only one, and she was surrounded by powerful men who were constantly trying to push her out of the way, to belittle her capabilities\u2026 and she succeeded. Now she\u2019s legendary\u2026 it\u2019s just insane how much things have changed.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fresh off winning XBIZ\u2019s \u2018Featurette of the Year\u2019 for \u201cHopeless,\u201d starring Casey Calvert and Lumi Ray, Randall is also pouring her creativity into a new photography book and tech startup JOI while also prioritizing her family and learning the art of saying no. \u201cI have to be careful with the things I give my time to – which sometimes is hard because I hate saying no to people\u2026 but I\u2019ve been forced to learn to set boundaries very strongly, and I\u2019m definitely more and more comfortable with it.\u201d<\/p>\n
