GoFundMe to Help Pay Medical Fees, Physical Therapy Costs for Multiple-Award-Winning Director<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Chicago – Adult entertainment superstar Christy Mack (https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChristyMack<\/a>) has launched a GoFundMe to cover costs associated with the ongoing medical costs for Ivan (https:\/\/twitter.com\/iamivanxxx<\/a>). The multiple-award-winning director underwent six surgeries at Los Angeles\u2019 Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in early October, where he still remains under medical care, to repair his left leg after complications related to diabetes.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEarly on the morning of October 8, I received a lengthy and heartfelt message from one of my best friends,\u201d writes Mack on the GoFundMe page. \u201cUnfortunately, he developed an infection in his foot, that subsequently spread quickly to his leg. After multiple operations, a lengthy stay in the ICU, and rounds of dialysis, (his) condition is stable, but not quite out of the woods yet.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continues Mack, \u201cI have never met a more selfless person\u2026 Many of my friends, and all of my family, are aware of\u2026how much of a positive impact he has made on everyone in his life. No matter what situations arise in his own life, he will always make sure that you are taken care of before himself. From the toy drives that he hosts for his birthday, to the extra food he carries around in case he sees a person in need, we all know of the good that Ivan has brought to the community and the joy he brings to us personally.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow it is our turn to give back,\u201d writes Mack. \u201cHe would never ask anyone for any help, so we have taken it upon ourselves (but received his blessing) to do everything in our power to show him that we are here for him and will support him in any way possible. He will need help covering his medical costs, plus living expenses while he is unable to work during his recovery. If you can spare a few dollars, or positive messages for a dear friend to us all, we will never forget your generosity or positivity.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the extensive surgeries and care by Cedars-Sinai staff, a potential amputation was fortuitously cancelled; since being admitted October 8, Ivan has finally started physical therapy this week and is looking forward to recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
