Chicago \u2013 Charlotte Stokely has hit another landmark in her outstanding career in the adult business with the announcement she is being inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte entered the industry in 2004, her first credit listed as a single scene that year for Reality Kings. Always a strong and popular performer, Charlotte has solidified her credentials in recent years with a string of wildly-successful movies showcasing both her passionate girl\/girl performances and her stellar acting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She won the Girl\/Girl Performer of the Year (or equivalent) at every major award show in 2019, taking the trophy at the AVN Awards, XBIZ Awards, XRCO Awards and NightMoves Awards, something that had never been done before. It was her second consecutive win at both XRCO and NightMoves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m so excited to say I\u2019m in the 2020 AVN HALL OF FAME!\u201d Charlotte tweeted after the announcement on Tuesday. \u201cThank you to everyone who believed in me to memorize a 30+ page script, play lead acting roles in big budget features w\/ 18+ hour days and to my AMAZING fans! I\u2019m eternally grateful for you all!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has floored critics with her acting performances in movies like Confessions of a Sinful Nun<\/em> (Sweetheart) and its sequel, Justice League XXX<\/em> (Wicked), Becoming Elsa<\/em> (Sweetheart), The<\/em> Possession of Mrs. Hyde<\/em> (Wicked), \u201cRock You Like a Hurricane\u201d (Girlcore), Terror Camp<\/em> Sweetheart) The Bachelorette<\/em> (Girlsway), A Lesbian Christmas Story<\/em> (Sweetheart) \u2013 just to name a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a recent review of A Lesbian Christmas Story<\/em>, XCritic\u2019s Don Juan DeMarko wrote: \u201cThe fast tongue of Charlotte Stokely gives Silvia Sage fans something they rarely get to see, a woman who knows how to make love to another woman on camera with style, grace and glamour, mixed with this subtle nastiness that people can\u2019t put their finger on but feel it on the surface of what makes this scene good. Charlotte shows me that there are so many sides to what she can do on screen. This is one of her most amazing performances of her career sexually and seductively.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feeling the words of his review inadequate, the writer also tweeted Charlotte publicly around the same time, saying, \u201cMadam, I don\u2019t know where you gain your acting power from. It is this force of nature that cannot be contained. In three years I have seen you in over twenty big roles & none of them are the same. You deserve the thanks for creating the illusion you can with your acting is epic!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AVN article on the 2020 inductees gives a nice overview of Charlotte\u2019s career, which started with boy\/girl scenes but really exploded after she became a girl\/girl-only performer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThough she never did anal, Stokely didn\u2019t shy away from hardcore,\u201d AVN wrote. \u201cShe shot for all the major companies and was particularly popular in IR scenes, but in 2007 she changed things up and stopped shooting boy\/girl. Stokely\u2019s next big career jumpstart came in 2012, when she signed a contract with MetArt and SexArt for girl\/girl work. \u2018I think that really helped push my girl\/girl career,\u2019 she says.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charlotte clearly found her comfort zone in the adult industry as her popularity and accolades accumulate with each passing year. With her 2020 already coming together with major announcements coming soon \u2013 not to mention the opportunity to win top girl\/girl honors at AVN Awards again this year \u2013 it looks like Charlotte\u2019s reign won\u2019t be ending anytime soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
