In the new episode, \u2018How Has the Coronavirus Affected the BDSM Community?\u2019, frequent-flier Eva, whose own business excursions have been interrupted by COVID-19\u2019s global path of terror, took to the studio with co-host Dirk Hooper after posting to her Twitter page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe question that we tweeted\u2026 \u2018How has Coronavirus changed your kink play and sessions? Are you doing anything differently? Physically? Mentally? Do you have any tips?\u2019 We have quite a few things that came back,\u201d said Eva, who encourages the industry\u2019s providers to peruse respondents\u2019 helpful advice on her Twitter @youwillpleaseME.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eva noted that \u201clifestylers are making changes, but professional dominatrices are hyper-aware of precautions, and taking them. Many, if not most, have stopped in-person sessions worldwide, and are trying online cam and clip sites, even if they haven\u2019t before. We are also trying to keep the community connected by hosting video hangouts centered around kink, and group chats are ramping up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She and Hooper discuss sex workers\u2019 lack of – and need for – a solid support system, proactive unions and healthcare, putting out a plea to donate to sex worker advocacy & service organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They urge providers suffering hardships during this crisis to reach out to programs such as SWOP<\/a>, Stroll PDX<\/a> and Sex Workers Project<\/a> in the US, as well as SWARM<\/a> and Sex Workers Alliance Ireland<\/a> in the UK; many have launched fundraising efforts to bring assistance to those in need in the uncertain days ahead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
