Organizers Postpone 20th Anniversary of Premier Fetish & Kink Community Trade Show Until August 2021<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Chicago – Fetish Con\u2122 (http:\/\/fetishcon.com<\/a>) organizers have announced the cancellation of its 2020 trade show; they have moved the 20th Anniversary event to 2021, which has been officially slated for August 12 \u2013 15.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDue to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the incredibly hard decision to cancel our 20th Anniversary trade show that was due to take place from August 13 \u2013 16\u2026,\u201d reads the announcement on the event site. \u201cOur main concern has been and always will be the health and safety of all of our attendees, and due to the current circumstances, this is something that unfortunately no one can guarantee in 2020.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizers are offering two options for those who have already purchased passes for this year\u2019s trade show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. All All-Access passes, Vendor booths, and Sponsorship agreements will be transferred to and honored for the 2021 show. In addition, all All-Access pass holders and Vendors will be offered a 25% discount for the 2022 trade show.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. For those not wishing to transfer their passes, booths, and sponsorship agreements to the 2021 show may request a full refund, which will be processed pursuant to the stated trade show Terms and Conditions. Those choosing this option will not<\/strong> receive a 25% discount for the 2022 trade show.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      For those who have already purchased rooms at the host hotel, the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront Hotel, reservations will be automatically cancelled. Fetish Con\u2122 and the host hotel gently remind attendees they are not responsible for rebooking \/ refunds on lodging arrangements made separate from the host hotel, nor other travel arrangements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cLike everyone in the country right now, we are concerned for the health and safety of ourselves, our families, and our friends,\u201d says Event Promoter Genesis Lynn. \u201cFor us, that extends even further, to include everyone who attends Fetish Con \u2013 from the talent and industry members, our exhibitors, general attendees, our staff, and the staff at the host hotel. Everyone\u2019s well-being was taken into consideration when making the final decision to cancel our 2020 trade show.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cFor this year, we are working on hosting a virtual event in August 2020, to bring the Fetish Con community together. Even if our online event is only for one night, we invite everyone to attend!\u201d continues Genesis Lynn. \u201cWe have appreciated the support of the fetish and adult community for the past twenty years.
