Dallas Cowboys @ NY Giants— the season for my Cowboys is mercifully coming to an end. I am picking them to win mostly because as a Cowboy fan I can’t believe we’ll end this on a sour note. Cowboys win.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns— Those poor Cleveland Browns. All they had to do last week was beat the lowly Jets and they could have clinched their first playoff birth since 2002–the longest playoff drought in the NFL. Well COVID hit their receivers and offensive line and Baker Mayfield fumbled 3 times and now they have to beat Pittsburgh to get in. The Steelers clinched their playoff spot and have already announced Big Ben won’t play this week. But the Browns have 9 guys out on the COVID list. My head say Pittsburgh but my heart says Browns. Browns win.

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills—Normally the Fins in Buffalo in the cold is a bad pick but the Bills have clinched the division and have nothing to play for this week. Dolphins need this game to make the playoffs and they’ll win. Dolphins win.

Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears—Another game with serious playoff implications. The Packers need the game for seeding and the Bears need it to make the playoffs. So both teams will play hard but the Packers are the better squad. Packers win.

Washington @ Philadelphia Eagles—-we have to pick two NFC East games—yuk! If Alex Smith plays, Washington wins but if he doesn’t play, they won’t be able to score with their replacement qb. I am betting he plays. On top of that, Philly sucks. I am picking Washington to win.

Atlanta @ Tampa – The Falcons are playing for jobs next year while the Buccaneers can’t improve their playoff position. Tampa takes it in a close game. Bucs 27 Falcons 24

Dallas @ NY Giants – Dallas needs this win and a Washington loss to win the East. They will take care of the Giants and hope the Eagles can take care of Washington Sunday night. Cowboys 24 Giants 20

NY Jets @ New England – The Jets come into this game with a 2-game winning streak while the Patriots are on a three-game slide. Both teams are auditioning for next year. Patriots 20 Jets 17

Minnesota @ Detroit – Both teams have lost their last 3 games. Detroit is auditioning for a new coach. SOL: Same Old Lions….Vikings 31 Lions 27

Pittsburgh @ Cleveland – A ton of scenarios on how the Browns can make the playoffs. Simply put, they need to win to insure a spot. Browns need to play mistake-free football and don’t do anything stupid like fumbling the ball on a QB sneak.  Browns 27 Steelers 24

Baltimore @ Cincinnati – Simple formula for the Ravens: Win and they are in. Raven 31 Bengals 20

Miami @ Buffalo – The Dolphins win, and they are in. A loss and they will need a ton of help. The Bills have the division locked so they may sub a lot of their starters. Miami 27 Bills 20

Seattle @ San Francisco – Seahawks need a win and some help to get the first-round bye. Seahawks 31 49ers 20

Arizona @ LA Rams – Both teams need a win to get into the playoffs but more than likely the Rams will be without QB Jared Goff. Cardinals 24 Rams 17

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis – Indianapolis clinches AFC South division title with a win and a Titan loss. Oh, look, the Jaguars! Colts 34 Jaguars 24
