Buffalo @ Los Angeles Rams – Buffalo is poised to have a good year but the Rams are the defending champs. This is a great match up for the opening of the NFL 2022 campaign. The Bills win in a very close game.
Philadelphia @ Detroit – This pains me to say it. Detroit is improved but Philly is better. Eagles win.
Las Vegas @ Los Angeles Chargers – I know that Devante Adams has reunited with his boy Derek Carr in Sin City but Chargers are about to take a huge step forward and the first step is winning this one at home. Chargers win.
Tampa @ Dallas – TB12 just can’t disappear from training camp for 2 weeks and show back up and beat my Cowboys, can he? Cowboys win.
Denver @ Seattle – Oh boy, Russ returns to Seattle and I predict that he is going smack some Seahawk ass. Denver wins.

Buffalo @ Los Angeles (Rams) – I think the Bills win this game. Josh Allen (Bills QB) has a big game. Rams will have a bit of a super bowl hangover. I know the game is in LA, but the way the Bills fans travel, I wouldn’t be surprised if it feels like a home game for Buffalo.
Philadelphia @ Detroit -Even though I hate Philly and I do think the Lions have a better season, Philly made too many good offseason moves and will outlast Detroit in a surprisingly close game. AJ Brown (new Eagles WR) will open the field for Jalen Hurts (Eagles QB) to have a big game.
Las Vegas @ Los Angeles (Chargers) – Chargers win in an amazing game. I believe both teams are playoff caliber but Justin Hebert (Chargers QB) outplays Derek Carr (Raiders QB) and the Chargers win in a shootout.
Tampa Bay @ Dallas – Tampa Bay wins in a surprisingly low scoring game. While I do think Dallas has the talent to win, the offensive line is too weak at the moment. Dak will be running for his life. Plus, never bet against a pissed off Tom Brady.
Denver @ Seattle – Denver in a blowout. Russel Wilson (Denver QB who was Seattle QB last year) has a huge game against his old team. Seattle just doesn’t have the offensive talent to keep up. Too much offensive talent on Denver’s side.

Buffalo @ Los Angeles Rams – The Bills have been receiving all the preseason hype which is probably justified. However, the talking is over and it’s time to prove the hype. Buffalo is solid on offense, but a few questions remain in the defensive backfield. The main question for the Rams is the health of Matthew Stafford. Bills 27 Rams 24
Sunday
New Orleans @ Atlanta – The Saints have a solid defense, but their season will ride on Jameis Winston and a sketchy O-line. The Falcons are rebuilding with the departure of Matt Ryan with Marcus Mariota taking over the quarterbacking duties. Saints 31 Falcons 24
Cleveland @ Carolina – This game has plenty of buildup as Baker Mayfield takes on his old team. Deshaun Watson is suspended so the Browns start Jacoby Brissett at QB which translates plenty of work for RBs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Christian McCaffrey is healthy to start the season which obviously benefits the Panthers and Mayfield’s offense. Will the Panthers defense be ready for the Browns running attack, that’s the key. Panthers 27 Browns 20
San Francisco @ Chicago – The 49ers start the Trey Lance era as Jimmy G. starts the season has backup. Lance has plenty of weapons to work with which will only help him settle into the QB1 job. Justin Fields and David Montgomery are the only bright spots for the Bears on offense with both sides of the ball are young and inexperienced. Bears fans should expect a lot of growing pains this year. 49ers 34 Bears 20
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati – Joe Burrow comes into this season with a completely revamped offensive line that can only be an improvement over last year. The Steelers will have to rely heavily on their defense as Pittsburgh will struggle on offense this year. Bengals 27 Steelers 17
Philadelphia @ Detroit – Talk has it that the Eagles have the best O-line in the league. If so, Jalen Hurts should be poised to have a breakout season. The Lions have improved over last season and may be ready for a shot at the wild card. However, until they start winning, they are still SOL (Same Old Lions). Eagles 34 Lions 27
Indianapolis @ Houston – The Colts could be a sleeper team in the AFC. If anything, they should be the favorite in winning the AFC South. Appears Lovie Smith has conned yet another organization into giving him another head coaching job. Enjoy that, Texans fans. Colts 27 Texans 17
New England @ Miami – Mike McDaniel takes over head coaching duties in Miami as the Dolphins improve their offense by signing Tyreek Hill. Along with Jaylen Waddle, Tua Tagovailoa could be set up for an outstanding season. Mac Jones and the Patriots could stumble out of the gate this season with a rather shaky offense. This could be one of the worst Patriot teams in recent memory. Miami 31 New England 20
Baltimore @ NY Jets – The biggest concern with the Ravens is when will they sign Lamar Jackson to one of those massive QB contracts. Former Ravens QB Joe Flacco gets the start for the Jets as Zach Wilson recovers from surgery. Flacco may be the next Jets QB heading for surgery after this game. Ravens 34 Jets 17
Jacksonville @ Washington – With better talent and most importantly a better coaching staff, Trevor Lawrence could have an outstanding. If everything goes well, the Jaguars could even be a threat for a playoff spot. It is shaping up to be another rocky ride for Washington with Carson Wentz as their starter. Jaguars 24 Washington 23
NY Giants @ Tennessee – Speaking of long seasons, the Giants are in the middle of another rebuild with the inconsistent Daniel Jones leading the G-Men. The Titans lost pass rusher Harold Landry for the season, but they still have a solid running attack to keep them in games. Titans 27 Giants 20
Kansas City @ Arizona – The Cardinals will find out quickly if giving Kyler Murray a massive contract was worth it. The Chiefs continue to be loaded even without Tyreek Hill. If the Chiefs defense plays well this year, they could be headed back to the Super Bowl. Chiefs 34 Cardinals 24
Las Vegas @ Los Angeles Chargers – The Raiders added Davante Adams to an already impressive set of offensive weapons. The concern is the Raiders defense, specifically the defensive backs. The Raiders could be a real threat to the Chiefs in the AFC West. Speaking of threats to the Chiefs, the Chargers and Justin Herbert are poised to make a serious run in the West. This could be the most competitive division in football. Chargers 37 Raiders 30
Green Bay @ Minnesota – The Vikings have serious concerns about their defense which doesn’t sound good going against Aaron Rogers. However, at the start of the season concerning are floating around about the rest of the Packers offense. A strong measuring stick for both teams to start the season. Packers 31 Vikings 27
Sunday Night
Tampa @ Dallas – The yearly Dallas hype machine is working overtime predicting THIS IS THE YEAR for the Cowboys to return to past glory. Okay, we’ll see. The Buccaneers still have Tom Brady and a solid offense. The Bucs should be in the Super Bowl hunt for at least another year. Tampa 27 Dallas 20
