Chicago – There is a lot to be proud of at Disruptive Films, but one thing the premium gay cinema brand is particularly thrilled about these days is winning ‘Best Sex Scene – Gay’ at the 2023 XBIZ Awards for its dramatic feature film Briar Basin Ranch (Act III).
The seven-man scene, starring, Brandon Anderson, Dillon Diaz, Killian Knox, Blain O’Connor, Dakota Payne, Roman Todd and Andrew Miller, is not only an erotic feast for the senses, but directors Michael Vegas, Siouxsie Q. and Jessica Jasmin knew from Day One of shooting that the performance was “something special”.
‘The orgy in Briar Basin Ranch is the type of scene where you walk away from it smiling, cum covered and disoriented,” mused Vegas. “So much action to focus on and so many beautiful models paired and grouped in this mega-fuck frenzy. Dillon Diaz having his gangbang breaks come true on camera is absolutely a delight to witness as well.”
Siouxsie Q. said, “There was something electric in the air while we were shooting the scene; every performer brought his all to the scene, and created something truly transcendent. It was an honor to help facilitate such an epic moment of fantasy fulfillment for a group of some of the sweetest and most talented stars working in the industry today.
“I will never forget the look of pure joy on Dillon Diaz’s cum-covered face as we wrapped. I am so grateful for any opportunity to create spaces for performers to showcase their talents and to be able to document their exploration of authentic chemistry – it’s honestly all I have ever wanted to do, and working on these films is a dream come true!”
Jessica Jasmin agrees wholeheartedly with her co-directors: “’It was incredible to see the chemistry sizzle throughout the big group. While we were filming, I remember looking at Michael and Siouxsie and laughing because we didn’t even know where to look. Everything going on was fire.”
This is the second XBIZ Award for the production studio: The Last Course, Disruptive’s first feature presentation written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Bree Mills, was honored in 2022 for ‘Gay Movie of the Year’.
