Chicago – Last year, Taiwanese-born award-winning adult film director Bloomer Yang began working with Delphine Films, a division of Model Media, and now they’re officially announcing him as one of their primary directors.
In 2015, Bloomer Yang left Taiwan after graduating from National Chengchi University to start a new life in the US and attend Chapman University Film Screenwriting Institute. While in school and after graduation, Bloomer held various jobs, including receptionist, food delivery man, and e-commerce management manager. Despite dealing with cultural barriers, missing his friends, and homesickness, he graduated from school. After graduating, Bloomer found a love of standup comedy and started taking stages and open mics around the Los Angeles area. In 2021, the ModelTV platform was recruiting talent for filming and production. After a chance meeting, Bloomer joined their editorial team and eventually made the leap to stepping behind the camera full-time.
Thanks to Bloomer and a handful of other directors, Model Media garnered many nominations and a few wins during the recent award season and is emerging as a huge US adult brand that explores the world of eroticism without fear. He works with some of the top talents and rising stars, directing and writing for features. Bloomer will continue working on some of their most significant projects and take on even more work in 2023.
