Well both Tennessee and Jacksonville are sad but I’m taking Titans for this one. They have a better record, that’s my premise here.

As much as my heart would love to see Mayfield kill it, he’s just not going to. Not to mention the Rams (unfairly) embarrassed my Saints- again. I’d be thrilled if Cleveland pulled that upset, but they’re not. Rams over Browns.

I’m also taking the Bad News Bears over Washington. They’re known to take the 2nd half and win from that latter half, they totally got this one.

I’ll go Tennessee over Jacksonville, LA Rams over Cleveland, and Washington over Chicago

Thursday

Tennessee @ Jacksonville – The Titans have struggled offensively this so far this season and will rely on the running game. Same goes for the Jags as their rookie QB, Gardner Minshew gets his second start. Jags 20 Titans 17

Sunday

Detroit @ Philadelphia – The Lions surprised the Chargers last week with an upset win at home. They face another challenge this week going on the road to face the Eagles. This could be a high scoring affair with the Eagles secondary weakened by injuries along with some key injuries on their offense. Tough to win in Philly: Eagles 24 Lions 17

Miami @ Dallas – The Cowboys opened this week as a 20.5 point favorite over the Dolphins. This game could get ugly by halftime. Dallas 38 Miami 10

Baltimore @ Kansas City – Ravens QB Lamar Jackson leads the NFL with a 145.2 pass rating while KC’s Patrick Mahomes is on pace to pass for an insane 6,500 yards. If you like games with a lot of points scored, buckle up. Chiefs 41 Ravens 31

Oakland @ Minnesota – The Raiders are slowly improving but the Vikings defense will win the day for the Purple People Eaters.  Minnesota 27 Raiders 21

Cincinnati @ Buffalo – The Bills have their home opener Sunday after starting the season by defeating NYC’s two teams. The Bills will run the ball down the Bengals throat. Bills 27 Bengals 20

Atlanta @ Indianapolis – The Falcons have better talent than what they’ve showed so far this year. The Colts pulled out a win against the Titans last week on the road. Atlanta 31 Indy 24

NY Jets @ New England – The Jets will probably start third string QB Luke Falk in Sunday’s game. This shouldn’t be much of a struggle for the Patriots. New England 34 Jets 6

Denver @ Green Bay – New coach, new offense, improved defense…same Aaron Rodgers. Packers 34 Broncos 17

Carolina @ Arizona – Cam Newton might not play Week 3 versus the Cardinals. That could mean Kyle Allen gets the start. The Panthers will have to rely on their defense to keep Kyler Murray under wraps. A shaky win for the Panthers: Carolina 20 Cardinals 17

NY Giants @ Tampa – Giants rookie Daniel Jones gets his first start Sunday against a much improved Tampa defense. Buccaneers 27 Giants 17

Houston @ LA Chargers – You think Phillips Rivers is pissed about that lose to Detroit last week? Combine that with an above average defense and it’ll be a long day for the Texans. Chargers 34 Texans 24

New Orleans @ Seattle – Drew Brees is out for 6 weeks. Enough said. Seahawks 27 Saints 17

Pittsburgh @ San Francisco – Ben Roethlisberger is gone for the season. Enough said. 49ers 34 Steelers 17

Sunday Night

LA Rams @ Cleveland – The Rams have too many weapons on both sides of the ball for the Browns to handle. Rams 37 Browns 20

Monday Night

Chicago @ Washington – The Bears found their kicker last week in Denver but their offense is still MIA. The Redskins are 0 – 2 and desperately need a win but the Bears defense will help save a victory. Bears 24 Redskins 23
