Chicago – Adult virtual reality creator Badoink Studios has taken a leaf out of Hollywood’s book and has begun shooting VR porn scenes that utilize 100% CGI environments. Under the BaDoink Studios umbrella, VRCosplayX has completed its first CGI-based production in February of 2023. The scene, Bayonetta, a XXX Parody, stars 8-year industry veteran, Alex Coal. Coal, portraying the pistol-wielding Umbra Witch, Bayonetta, takes on the strength of the Alphaverse, but not before a steamy encounter in an entirely CGI apocalyptic city setting.
VRCosplayX has been releasing a weekly VR cosplay production since its inception in late 2016. The studio is now looking to expand its playbook by shooting select scenes in front of a green screen and recreating the environment using 3D software.
Content Director, Lucas Elliot creates each 3D environment in-house and says, “Shooting with 3D in mind can be very challenging. Lighting is of paramount importance when shooting these scenes. If there are too many shadows, the chroma key process becomes next to impossible. That being said, we’re happy to rise to the challenge and our early results are very promising.”
Actress Alex Coal has shot for VRCosplayX before, but never in front of a green screen. “I had a great time shooting in front of the green screen, I felt like it allowed my imagination to take over! My viewers have been asking me to cosplay Bayonetta for so long! When I saw that she was the character I’d be playing it made me even more excited for the scene. I hope I did her justice,” said Coal.
Bayonetta 3 was released on the Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2022. In this hack-and-slash style video game, players take control of Bayonetta who uses both melee and ranged attacks to take on enemies. Bayonetta 3 won the Best Action Game Award in the 2022 Game Awards.
Bayonetta, A XXX Parody was released March 16th, 2023 and is available to stream or download to all VRCosplayX members.
