Chicago — Adult film star Alison Rey is thrilled to announce that she has been nominated in AVN’s 2024 Fan-Voted Awards in the category of “Unsung Darling.”
Rey was nominated for “Hottest Newcomer” at the 2016 AVN Awards; “Best Supporting Actress” and “Best Group Sex Scene” at the 2019 AVN Awards; and “Most Epic Ass” at the 2020 AVN Awards; and “Best Sex Scene – All-Girl” at both the 2021 and 2023 XBIZ Awards.
The gorgeous star put out the call to her most loyal fans to pre-nominate her last month, and they delivered the nomination most dear to her in the Fan-Voted AVN Awards: the monumentally apt “Unsung Darling” nod.
“I’m super stoked about my ‘Unsung Darling’ nomination,” said Rey. “I can’t tell you how many fans have told me at conventions that they can’t believe I wasn’t nominated for anything, and they really showed up for me this year when it came to the pre-nominations!
“The AVN Fan Awards contain some of my favorite categories, because it represents what the viewers are enjoying, rather than being politicized, like awards so often are. There are so many performers that deserve this award, and honestly, they should probably just give all of us princess crowns to acknowledge our hard work and dedication to our craft. Unfortunately, that’s not exactly how awards work, so I will once again ask my loyal fans to vote for me every day. Set an alarm on your phone, a calendar reminder, whatever, and let’s blow this vote out of the water and show the powers that be that they’ve been sleeping on me for far too long!”
The public is invited to vote for their favorite performers, cam models and creators in each Fan-Voting category until the deadline at noon on Saturday, January 27, 2024—the same day as the 41th annual AVN Awards Show.
