Chicago – Adult star Sadie Summers is marking a successful return to adult film after a 15-year absence, but her heart still beats for the profession she left behind as a nurse.

The former Tobi Pacific, who began her adult film career in 2005 at 19 and left in 2008 to pursue nursing as a public and home health care specialist, says that her return to the industry stemmed from missing the excitement of the industry and her desire to explore her more playful side after 11 years of nursing.

“After shooting more than 70 scenes with some of adult’s most prolific stars – it was such a trip to work with some of the same people I did when I was 19, 20 years old,” says the Squamish, British Columbia, Canada native of coming out of retirement to perform again after a 15-year hiatus. “Seeing Michael Stefano again, Mike Adriano… I was in one of, if not the first, movie that Mike directed back in 2006. So to work with him again – three times! – was amazing.”

But Summers admits that she still looks back on her “fulfilling” nursing career with fondness. “I specialized in home and community care and helping people pass away at home. Honestly, it was lovely; no one wants to die in the hospital unless they really want to, and then it’s their wishes. Being at home is so special. I really loved doing that line of work for so many years.”
