Las Vegas – SWAID Collective has announced that the 501(c)(3) will be hosting a clothing swap at a private location in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 21st. SWAID provides harm reduction supplies, microgrants, and testing subsidies to sex workers in need, and hosts two clothing swap fundraisers each year.

The SWAID clothing swap is a 100% free event for sex workers in Las Vegas and drive-in communities. Participants can exchange clothing, shoes, toys, accessories, and other items. In addition to exchanging items, free harm reduction supplies will be handed out. Attendees also have the option to do mini-photoshoots with Nikki Sequoia of No Filter Fotos.

Event sponsors include Peepshow Toys, Christian Wilde, Uberrime, Crystal Delights, System JO, Dee’s Big Daddies, Nobu Toys, CB-X, No Filter Fotos, PS:Group, and Velvet Alley Toys, with more TBA. Sponsors have donated pleasure products that will be raffled off during the event. All attendees receive a free raffle ticket with the option to obtain additional tickets with on-site donations.

“It’s always a pleasure getting to see so many sex workers in one place and for a good cause. SWAID is near & dear to my heart, both as a volunteer and a recipient of their services. I’m honored to help raise funds for our organization, especially since 100% of our donations go right back into the sex worker community,” said Sydney Screams, an event and fundraising volunteer staff member for SWAID.

“Our clothing swaps are an amazing opportunity to meet new friends, get free clothes & harm reduction supplies, and help raise money for our community. I love getting to see so many smiling faces come together! My favorite part is when someone attends for the first time and is blown away by the sense of community that SWAID has helped foster,” Screams continued.

Additional sponsor opportunities are available for companies and individuals interested in supporting the sex worker community. Inquiring parties can reach out to Sydney at [email protected]

SWAID Collective is a fund created by sex workers for use by sex workers. Their goal is to quickly, efficiently, and privately give out financial aid, contraceptives, harm reduction supplies and other materials to the sex work community without significant wait times or other barriers that harm the most marginalized members of the community. 100% of contributions go directly towards their microgrant program, which provides $100 microgrants to sex workers in need. All donations are tax deductible.
