Chicago – Trans adult industry icon Wendy Williams recently shared her views in a piece published by YNOT Cam, discussing if increased trans adult content indicated larger social acceptance of trans individuals overall.

“Anytime I can speak about social acceptance especially towards the trans community I am always ready and open for discussion,” said Williams. “Thanks to YNOT for always including trans awareness within your platform.”

“Does More Content Mean Greater Social Acceptance?” asks Williams and fellow adult stars, Casey Kisses and TSBlondieNYC, if they believed there was a connection between the two. The interview can be viewed here: https://www.ynotcam.com/2019/10/11/does-increased-content-consumption-mean-wider-social-acceptance/

In the piece, Williams discusses how trans visibility in porn can be a double-edged sword in society. “Visibility means we can say loudly ‘WE EXIST,’ but others then can use our existence for political issues that actually hurt our existence,” she said. “In the long run, we will need those bumps in the road if we want to further a positive agenda.
