Green Bay @ Arizona – The Packers have won six games in a row while the Cardinals have yet to lose a game. The Cardinals have too many weapons for the Packers to handle while the Pack may be short Davante Adams due to Covid. Cardinals 31 Packers 24
Sunday:
Cincinnati @ NY Jets – The Bengals defeated a strong Baltimore team on the road and now there is talk that the Bengals could be the team to beat in the AFC. The jury is still out on that. Jets’ Zach Wilson is out with a knee injury which prompted a trade to bring in Joe Flacco. Bengals 27 Jets 10
Tennessee @ Indianapolis – In the last two weeks the Titans have defeated the Bills and Chiefs. Impressive until you remember they lost to the Jets as well. The Colts defeated the 49ers in the slop last Sunday Night. Titans 27 Colts 24
Los Angeles Rams @ Houston – The Rams have a tendency of allowing bad teams to keep games close. They should make a statement by blowing the Texans out of the water. Rams 38 Texans 24
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland – This is a tuff game to figure out. It appears at this point Case Keenum will start at QB while Baker Mayfield deals with a shoulder injury. Pittsburgh is coming off their bye week playing .500% football at best. This game will ride on Cleveland’s run game and defense. Browns 24 Pittsburgh 20
Philadelphia @ Detroit – The Lions could be the best 0 – 7 team in the history of football. They must win eventually, and I’ll go out on a limb and say this will be the week. Lions 27 Eagles 24
San Francisco @ Chicago – Bears HC Matt Nagy will probably miss the game because of Covid. No great loss if you ask Bears’ fans. Appears 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo will get another start primarily because he’s the best they have. The Bears are bum slayers, but the 49ers are not completely void of talent. Carolina @ Atlanta – The Panthers are realizing Sam Darnold isn’t the guy as rumors are flying that the team may be looking to trade for Deshaun Watson. Matt Ryan is getting the passing game rolling with the help of Kyle Pitts. Atlanta 27 Carolina 20
Miami @ Buffalo – The Bills are coming off a bye week in which I suspect they fixed a few issues on offense. Bills 34 Dolphins 20
New England @ Los Angeles Chargers – Two QBs that could be the faces of the NFL in coming years do battle for the first time. Chargers Justin Herbert has more weapons and a better defense backing him then Mac Jones at this point. Chargers 31 Patriots 24
Jacksonville @ Seattle – If the Seahawks have any hope for the post season they must win against the Jags. It all hinges on Geno Smith which shouldn’t give any comfort to Seattle. With Russel Wilson it would be a long day for Jacksonville. With Geno it’ll be interesting. Seahawks 27 Jaguars 24
