Baltimore vs. Miami—-The Ravens should have no problem with the Fins. Baltimore is good and Miami is not.

Browns @ New England—-The Browns only have one healthy running back. Chubb is iffy with Covid. I think it will be hard for them to generate enough balance to beat The Hoodie.

Minnesota @ LA Chargers— This should be a really competitive game. I am picking the home team. Chargers should win but I am not overly confident with this pick.

Kansas City vs. Vegas—-I think the Chiefs will beat the bad news Bears…geez, the Raiders committed more crimes in the last month than the cast of OZ.

LA Rams vs. 9ers—-The Rams are very very good. They’ll beat the 9ers. It’ll be a tough game but the 9ers don’t have enough offense to keep up.

Week Nine Record: 8 – 6 Season Record: 86 – 50

Thursday:

Baltimore @ Miami – The Ravens survived in OT against the Vikings and sit atop the AFC North with a slim one game lead over everyone else in that division. Miami is a hot mess from top to bottom. Ravens 27 Miami 17

Sunday:

Buffalo @ New York Jets – Super Bowl contenders don’t lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars…ever. Now the Bills find themselves with just a half-game lead over the Patriots in the AFC East. Lucky for them they can redeem themselves against a banged-up Jets team. Bills 31 Jets 20

Tampa @ Washington – After having the week off to think about their loss in New Orleans, Tampa hits the road to take on a struggling Washington team. Tampa 34 Washington 24

Atlanta @ Dallas – The Cowboys were another team with Super Bowl dreams that laid an egg Sunday in their home loss to Denver. Fortunately, they still have a commanding lead in the NFC East. However, they can’t overlook an improving Falcons team sitting with a 4 – 4 record. Dallas 27 Atlanta 24

New Orleans @ Tennessee – The Titans may be the hottest team in football with their win over the Rams and five game winning streak. The Saints will keep it close. Titans 27 Saints 20

Jacksonville @ Indianapolis – The Jaguars are riding high after their 9 – 6 will over Buffalo. The Colts can’t have a letdown now as they still have hopes for a wild card shot. Colts 37 Jaguars 24

Detroit @ Pittsburgh – I tried to get behind the Lions, but they show no signs of winning any time soon. The Steelers are just one game back of the Ravens in the AFC North playing good enough to beat bad teams. Steelers 24 Lions 20

Cleveland @ New England – The Browns blew the doors off Cincinnati last week, but they face a solid Patriots team on the road. Wasn’t this supposed to be a rebuilding year for the Patriots? New England 24 Browns 20

Minnesota @ Los Angeles Chargers – The Vikings have had so many hard-luck losses this year the conclusion is they aren’t very good. The Chargers control their own fate in the AFC West, and this is a game they can’t let slip away. Chargers 31 Vikings 27

Carolina @ Arizona – Sam Darnold continues to be a mess at QB for the Panthers as they travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals who defeated the 49ers despite playing without Kyler Murray. Could be a long day for Carolina. Cardinals 31 Panthers 20

Philadelphia @ Denver – Jalen Hurts shows improvement at QB for the Eagles, but their pass defense is dreadful. Denver upset the Cowboys on the road to boost their record to 5 – 4 landing in a virtual tie in the AFC West. Denver 24 Philadelphia 23

Seattle @ Green Bay – After missing three games Russell Wilson is set to return for the Seahawks while Aaron Rogers is expected to return after missing one game because of Covid. Packers 31 Seahawks 24

Sunday Night:

Kansas City @ Las VegasLucky for the Chiefs Aaron Rogers didn’t play last week or more than likely they would have lost. The Chiefs better fix that offense, or they could miss the playoffs completely. The Raiders lost to the Giants on the road last week as their team continues to struggle with off-field issues. This game is a tossup. Chiefs 27 Raiders 24

Monday Night:

Los Angeles Rams @ San FranciscoBoth teams had losses last week, but the 49ers have too many problems to deal with. Rams 31 49ers 24
